We are only a couple of weeks from the annual Halloween parade and picnic (Sunday, October 27). We will meet at the circle at the Saul Road park at 12:00. The kids will then parade through the Kensington Park parking lot and along the roads to the corner of East Bexhill and Saul. If they are available we will have the fire department lead us once again.
As you know the association provides the hamburgers and hot dogs and drinks. The rest is pot luck. If you last name starts with A-G please bring a dessert all others please bring a side dish or salad.
If you will be able to help out I could really use the extra hands. I need grillers, popcorn and cotton candy servers, someone to pick up ice and folks to help set up and clean up. I also need some one who is crafty to make some posters to advertise the party and to inform people about the road closure.
Please let me know if you can spare some time, it takes a village, or at least a neighborhood to put on a good party.
