Presentation on “Villages of Kensington” at the next RCHCA Meeting, March 3, 7:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal School

Dear Neighbors:

I’m writing to let you know that we’re going to do a short presentation on our Intergenerational RCH Village at this meeting and answer any questions you may have about what’re we’re up to. You’ll have a chance to meet some of the key members of our Steering Committee and the Coordinator of Kensington Heights who has joined us to form “Villages of Kensington.”

When the weather gets warmer, we’ll organize some more enjoyable social gatherings – maybe a wine and cheese party or potluck dinner, or – my ambition – an English tea – to give you a chance to meet Village organizers and chat with neighbors and share your views about what we’re planning.

Meanwhile, it seems that our Village has generated some interest in other parts of Kensington! Since Kensington Heights has joined us and we sent out our survey, we’ve received queries from several other Kensington communities. Any Kensington community that joins our Villages of Kensington will enjoy considerable autonomy while collaborating with us as a centralized “hub” to handle all the critical work and issues that apply to us all.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t had a chance to do so, please take a look our short community needs assessment survey that’s posted on the RCHCA website or through the link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q8C5ZZP . Your feedback is essential because, after all, this is YOUR Village, that will reflect what services you’d like to receive, what social gatherings you’d enjoy, and what educational sessions you’d find stimulating and fun.

Let me know if you’d prefer to get an e-mailed survey that you can fill out & send back – [email protected]

Have a good weekend!

Suzanne
