Cedar Lane will be closed on our about June 16, 2011 at 7:00 PM. The closure
is necessary to allow for demolition and reconstruction of the existing
bridge over Rock Creek on an accelerated schedule. The road is scheduled to
be reopened on or about August 24, 2011. Adverse weather could impact the
start and end dates of the road closure. Any changes to this schedule will
be posted on signs in the work zone. The limits of the road closure are from
Beach Drive to Parkhill Drive. Motorists should follow the posted detour
route. Pedestrians and bicyclists may use a temporary pedestrian bridge to
cross Rock Creek. The temporary pedestrian bridge is located adjacent to the
existing bridge. Please exercise caution when traveling through the work
zone.
