RE: Nominations for RCHCA 2010 Officers
In accordance with RCHCA bylaws, Joe Rosenberg (RCHCA President) has appointed a committee to nominate candidates for RCHCA 2010 Officers. In addition to myself, the nominating committee also includes Vince De Cain and Keith Emery. If others are interested in serving on the nominating committee please let me know.
Offices filled by election are President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Our current President (Joe Rosenberg ) and Secretary (Mike Baker) have stated their intent to stand for election again in 2010, so while we are accepting nominations for all offices, we are particularly interested in identifying candidates for Vice President and Treasurer. The election of officers for 2010 will take place during the Annual Meeting to be held in January.
Serving as an officer is an important opportunity to help maintain the close sense of community in Rock Creek Hills, so we hope you will consider it yourself or let us know of others you think would be interested in serving.
While they are not elected positions, there are also many opportunities to participate through our standing committees – Transportation; Special Events; Communications, Building and Covenants; Legislative, Planning and Zoning; and Health, Safety and Environment – so please consider volunteering there as well. In addition, we are looking for someone to manage the RCHCA database on Microsoft Access. This is a necessary position to ensure that our mailings and directory listings remain current.
