CREEK CRITTERS: MACROINVERTEBRATE SAMPLING MADE EASY!
Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 10:30AM – 12:30PM EDT

Join the Rock Creek Hills Silver Creek Stream Team, Audubon Naturalist Society, and Rock Creek Conservancy to learn to use the newly-released “Creek Critters” smart phone app. The app guides beginners through the process of getting into a stream, collecting small aquatic insects that live in the stream, and identifying those critters to create a stream health report. The program is geared towards ages 8-80, and all are welcome to join! This is a great activity for parent-child teams!

Please join us for this fun and educational activity for kids and adults! Sign up at: Creek Week Creek Critters Blitz!

Please download the FREE “Creek Critters” app before you come to the stream. iPhone users can download the app from the Apple App Store. Android users can download the app from Google Play.
